Sarah Reeve
Having been a part of the Methven community for my entire life to date, I have been a proud member of Mount Hutt College right from Year 7. Throughout my time here I have been involved in the school in many different ways. This includes being a member of both the Sports and Wellbeing Committees, Peer Support, and the touch team. Finally, I was very fortunate to be named a senior Blue House Captain in 2024, alongside five other strong individuals who helped me grow my leadership skills.
I have a great passion for the outdoors, and have a particular interest in multisport. This is why I believe Methven to be such a great living environment, as we have the mountains and Rakaia River right on our doorstep. One thing I particularly love about Mount Hutt College is the spirit seen through students. Due to our smaller size, students have built strong bonds with one another across all different year levels, which is awesome to see. As a Head Student in 2025, it is a goal of mine to keep the strong sense of togetherness evident within our school while helping people become more exposed to the beautiful environment surrounding us.
