The vision for strengthening Trades and Agriculture provision at Mount Hutt College emerged directly from a comprehensive community consultation in 2021. This was a clear call from our community to prepare our young people for a future in these industries in our local area.
Our core goal is to deliver an inspiring, fit-for-purpose and future-focussed Trades and Agriculture curriculum. We want to engage and motivate students, equipping them with the practical skills and essential attributes needed to become successful employees and contributing members of our community.
This program is designed to help our young people discover their passions, explore pportunities, and understand the valuable contributions they can make, all while meeting the specific needs of local industries

Your name or business will be displayed on the exterior of the shed and on a large individual plaque in our “Path of innovation” - a new ath connecting the Hub to the school. -
Silver Donors ($5,001–$20,000)
Your name or business will be displayed on a medium sized individual plaque in our “Path of innovation” - a new path connecting the Hub to the school. -
Bronze Donors ($500–$5000)
Your name or business will be displayed on a small individual plaque in our “Path of innovation” - a new path connecting the Hub to the school. -
Base Donors (Any gift under $500)
All names will be acknowledged on a collective plaque in our “Path of innovation” - a new path connecting the Hub to the school. We encourage you to make use of the 33.3% tax credit for qualifying donations.
