Canterbury Secondary School Golf Champs
On Monday 25th of March the Mount Hutt Golf team, composed of Finn McGrath, Pat Johnson and Liam Campbell, attended the Canterbury Secondary School Golf Champs at Mcleans Island Golf Club.
This event was attended by over 100 student golfers with teams coming from all around the district. Players tee-ed off early morning in calm weather conditions, as the day moved on the wind picked up making for some tricky holes.
The Mcleans course played very straight and narrow with lots of trees surrounding greens, Finn McGrath played well to shoot an 83 while Pat Johnson and Liam Campbell had some tough holes to go with their good ones, both hitting triple figures.
The boys handled themselves well and were able to play some good golf, representing Mount Hutt College with Pride.
