Yr13 Geography Field Trip
19 May 2025

On Thursday the 15th of May, the Year 13 Geography class travelled to Little River to gather data for their internal research assessment. The students were looking at how the channel morphology of the Little River might change in three different sites.
The students were looking at sediment size, velocity of the water, clearness of the water and slope. This data will help them to analyse, conclude and evaluate their data and information to answer their research question and help them gain 5 credits.
Debbie from Environment Canterbury helped show the students how to collect some of the data and supported the class for the day.
