Pi Day

Pi Day

On the 14th of March, the academic committee hosted Pi Day. This consisted of a competition in our library where students needed to recite pi to the highest digit they could remember. The person who could recite the most had the opportunity to pie Mr Tantau (the head of the maths faculty) in the face.

Keeley Galbraith from Red House recited 108 digits. This led her to win the academic committee's first-ever Pi Day. The house that came on top was Gold House,  followed by Red House, and Blue House came in 3rd, with Green House in 4th.

Overall the day was a massive success with over 50 competitors participating. We would like to thank everyone for participating in this event and look forward to holding many more events like it.
