New C Block

We're thrilled to announce the completion of our brand-new classrooms, C4 and C5, in the recently refurbished C-Block! As Head of Maths & Stats, I'm particularly excited about the opportunities these modern spaces offer for our students and staff.
Step inside, and you'll immediately notice how bright, colourful, and warm the new classrooms are. The design truly fosters an inviting and stimulating learning environment, a far cry from the older, more traditional classrooms.
One of the most impressive features is the flexibility of the space. C4 and C5 can be easily opened up to create one large, expansive room. This incredible adaptability means we can now comfortably host larger school events right here in C-Block, such as House meetings and year-level assemblies, providing a convenient and central location for these important gatherings.
Adjacent to the main classrooms is a fantastic breakout space. This area is a true asset for our students, offering a dedicated spot for those who need a quiet environment for independent study or a collaborative zone for group work without disturbing ongoing classes. It's a versatile space that caters to different learning styles and needs.
The C-Block refurbishment also includes dedicated office space for staff. This provides a more comfortable and functional working environment for our teachers, allowing them to better prepare for lessons and support our students.
You'll also notice the stunning frosting on the windows, which features amazing Mount Hutt College logos! It's a subtle but powerful touch that adds to the overall aesthetic and reinforces our school spirit.
Looking ahead, the undercover front decking area will soon be furnished with tables and chairs, providing a wonderful outdoor space for students to relax, study, or socialise during breaks.
These new C-Block classrooms represent a significant upgrade to our learning facilities, and we're incredibly proud of them. We believe they will greatly enhance the educational experience for all Mount Hutt College students.
