Holi 2025

Last week, the cultural committee celebrated the annual Hindu festival of colours, love and spring (in the northern hemisphere); Holi.
Last week we had some colourful chalk art made by students, while enjoying the accompaniment of some music at our school performance area. Later in the week we had a jelly eating competition for house points. One senior and one junior represented their house to compete; blue house won first place for eating their jelly the quickest, green in second place, gold in third place and red in fourth place.
We also had some beautiful henna done by some of our talented South Asian Students who were very skilled with creating such stunning henna art. Many students lined up to get them done. It was a very successful celebration, thanks to all that came to celebrate!
