Farewell Trip for International Students

International Dept

The international students ended their term with an exciting day exploring Christchurch. The adventure began at Willowbank Wildlife Reserve, where they discovered New Zealand’s native wildlife, farm animals, and unique flora and fauna. The highlight was spotting the elusive kiwi bird—an unforgettable experience for many.

Next, the group visited the city center, enjoying lunch at Riverside Market and shopping at Westfield Riccarton. Students savored local flavors and picked up souvenirs before heading to their final stop: Apollo Project Stadium. There, they cheered as the Crusaders faced Moana Pasifika in a thrilling rugby match. The electric atmosphere and live sports action made it a perfect finale.

This trip combined education, culture, and fun, giving students lasting memories before their term ended. From wildlife encounters to city adventures and live rugby, the day celebrated their time in New Zealand. As they prepare to leave, these experiences will remain a cherished part of their study abroad journey.
