Mount Hutt College Careers Department Help Wanted
Mount Hutt College Careers Department aims to prepare students for their next step in life either into the workforce or independent living at tertiary level.
As part of this plan we are running a careers seminar with our year 12 students to be followed by a formal practice interview. This is taking place at Methven Resort on Wednesday 8 May with the practice interview held on Thursday 9 May at Mount Hutt College.
We would like to invite expressions of interest to present to our students on the following topics;
successful interview techniques;
skills needed in the workplace;
rights and responsibilities in the workplace;
managing conflict and difficult relationships;
university life,
apprenticeships;
Other topics (that you think might be important).
Presentations could take the form of presenting to the whole group (69 students) in one time slot or to smaller groups as workshops rotated throughout the day.
If you are willing to present a topic, run a workshop, help out with interviewing students or know of someone we could approach please contact Stephen Millichamp [email protected]
