Celebrating Success - MHC Girls Cricket

Our 1XI girls played in the Girls 1st XI Plate (formerly the Gillette Cup) this week for the first time in 20 years!
Day 1 saw a loss against Villa Maria, and a win against Greymouth. Day 2 saw the team getting a new session at the Canterbury Cricket Pavillion. This was followed by another win against St Margaret's. Today saw a loss against Forward Foundation (a team which is a combo of schools who play every Saturday).
The team went into their last game to play for 5th or 6th place in the competition, finally finishing 6th out of the 11 teams competing.
