Before School & Arriving by Bus
We are noticing a large number of students arriving to school very early in the morning, in some cases before 8am.
Please note that there is no supervision in the mornings for students until the school day begins at 8.45am as staff are in before-school meetings or undertaking planning & preparation. Students should not be arriving onsite until 8.30am (the same as the primary school), unless they are on a bus.
If students are coming to school by bus, the expectation is that they come directly to school. We have seen an increase in students choosing to go downtown from the bus for various reasons, which whānau potentially aren't aware of.
Students who have a legitimate reason for going downtown during the day are able to sign out with a parent note via the office.
