Chess Competition

Chess

This year included a non-competitive round which gave house points to those who came along and either had a friendly game or learnt to play. There was a great turnout with many people choosing to attend.

Following this, the competitive rounds began. This year we had 16 competitors fighting it out to win the competition. The games were very intense and exciting to watch and led us to our top four - Josh McKenzie, Jayesh Narayan, James Clark and Leo Varias. Our finalists this year were Josh McKenzie and Leo Varias for first and Jayesh Narayan and James Clark for 3rd and 4th.

These games were hard-fought and compelling to watch as our top four battled it out for their respective places. Leo Varias took out first with Josh McKenzie coming second and James Clark took out 3rd.

Congratulations to everyone who participated!
