Band Camp - A Huge Success!

The MHC Concert Band and Jazz Combo spent the weekend at Mount Hutt Retreat for their first annual Band Camp. These young musicians spent time building a strong culture of respect, professionalism and inclusion, developed their ensemble skills and intonation, and rehearsed several high-level pieces of repertoire which were performed at a Concert Sunday afternoon.
Along with Mr. Luddy, these students were supported by Forte Woodwind instructor Fiona Oudshoorn and MHC Choir Director Kath Woodley.
Students were well-fed thanks to the huge efforts of Maria Bessai and Anna Luddy.
