Join Us for the Senior School 2026 Subject Information Evening

To our Year 10 students and their parents. We look forward to seeing you at our Senior School 2026 Subject Information Evening next week. This is designed to help you make informed decisions about your future studies.

 

 Key Details:

 

 1. Senior School Subject Information (C4/C5)

   Explore Your Options:

- Meet our teaching staff and heads of faculty.

- Get answers to your questions about subjects in Years 11-13 (Levels 1-3 of NCEA).

- Learn more about our semester module topics.

- Plan your academic pathway for the next three years, not just for 2026.

 

 2. Introduction to NCEA (C8)

    Understand NCEA:

- A presentation by our Principals' Nominee, Mr Gorrie as an introduction to NCEA and NZQA.

- Session 1 starts at 6:00 PM and runs for approximately 20 minutes.

- Session 2 repeats at 6:30 PM.

 

 Additional Support:

- Career Guidance: Mr. Millichamp and Mrs. Manning, our Careers and Gateway coordinators, will be available to offer advice and assist with your subject selection process for Years 11-13.

- Displays: View student work and assessments across different subjects, providing a deeper understanding of what each subject has to offer.

(note: Mrs Manning is currently on leave, and Mrs Loten as well as your year level dean will be assist with Gateway queries)

Your subject module selection booklet, issued at the end of Term 2.
