South Island Field Days
On Thursday 27th March the Level Two and Three PIA and Ag/Hort Science classes travelled to Kirwee to attend the South Island Field Days.
The students were able to explore all different parts of the Agricultural world, asking questions and finding out more information about the industry. During this time they could observe tractor work, fencing, discover AI Tech, learn more about what goes into the agriculture industry such as vehicles, machinery, and tools and talk to many of the businesses about how they contribute to the industry.
The students enjoyed themselves as they were able to step outside the classroom to see all their learning coming into play. Overall, Fielddays was a good experience for all the students and it was a great opportunity due to them only having the chance to go one every two years with the school.
