Our Stories 2025

Looking for a way to involve yourself locally? New to town? Here for the ski season?
Mount Hutt College are once again holding their cultural/ diversity event involving students from across the school, a great community event.
“Our Stories” will focus around some of the learning being covered within the Year 7, 9 and 10 Social Science classes plus include some great fact finding following the student’s individual passions and making connections to the past. Linking today with what has come before is a good way to understand and decide on the future. Students have created mini projects displaying their findings and include some interactive activities.
Year 10 English classes are also sharing their amazing personal journey stories, which proved very popular reading last year.
Student work will be complimented by stalls and performances showcasing our varied cultural groups from our area. Parents, caregivers and community members will be welcome to join in. Food from our different cultural school groups will be available and various items created by the Year 13 YES programme will also be for sale so bring along your cash. The hall is now heated so we can guarantee a warm and inviting environment!
“OUR STORIES” Thursday 15 May Open 5 until 7 pm. We would love to see you there.
