Methven St John Awards
Hamish received the Certificate of Excellence for Divisional Cadet of the Year for 2023.
To achieve this award, Hamish was identified as a cadet who was friendly, caring and supportive to all, encouraged others to do their best, and assisted with leadership.
Lamont received the Certificate of Excellence for Most Improved Senior Cadet for 2023.
To achieve this award, Lamont was identified as the most improved cadet for the year who also encourages other cadets to do their best, helps with leadership, and participates in extra activities.
Both boys are also completing the Duke of Edinburgh award which challenges young people to develop skills and tools to improve themselves – and their communities. The students set their own goals with guidance, in the four Award sections; Voluntary Service, Physical Recreation, Skills and Adventurous Journey.
