Aoraki Touch Championship

On Friday 28th Feb, MHC had two senior touch sides go and represent the school at the Aoraki Secondary School Touch Champs in Timaru.
It was a great day and both teams played extremely well.
The Development side had a tougher pool coming across a couple of tough sides but they still managed to have close games.
The Senior side had an exceptional day winning all their games comfortably. They played Waimate in the final and won 5-0 regaining the Aoraki Secondary Schools title for 2025.
A huge thank you to all the players who helped referee at the tournament, to Jason Watene for coaching the Development side, Rachel Clark for managing the senior team and Rawiri Morunga and Mrs Latoya Cooksley for coaching.
