International Dept
Our students have settled into school life at MHC, starting with the Powhiri and swimming sports.
They are also enjoying learning about kiwi culture in their homestays. We have students from South Korea, Japan, Thailand and Fiji. During the term thus far they have been to Castle Hill, the Antarctic Centre, and on Friday we went to Ashburton.
We visited Te Whare Whakatere, our new library; met with the Mayor, Neil Brown, Deputy Mayor (and homestay mum) Liz McMillan, and councillor Tony Todd. We also attended the amazing Suffragette exhibition at the Ashburton Art Gallery and Museum.
If you see our students out and about in the community, please say hello.
We will continue to welcome short stay students through the year, and are currently seeking homestays. Please email [email protected].
