Saint Patrick's Day at Mount Hutt College

While we might be a wee bit far from the Emerald Isle, that doesn't mean we can't embrace the craic here in Aotearoa.
St. Patrick's Day began as a religious feast honoring Saint Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. Over time, it has transformed into a global celebration of Irish culture, marked by parades, music, dancing, and the wearing of green.
It is a great opportunity for our Irish MHC students to share their Irish heritage. Kaylum Davis turned into our lucky little leprechaun for our annual Scavenger Hunt. Students had to find eight shamrocks hidden around the school, while Kaylum was ready and waiting with rainbow sweets for them.
After a lucky prize draw, the winners of the scavenger hunt were:
Fariha Safi 13PT
James McNally 8CT
