International Dept

Our international students embarked on a unique adventure that took them far from their urban roots. They had the chance to pick fresh fruits and vegetables straight from several gardens around our community—a first for many who come from bustling cities. The experience continued at Opuke Eggs, where they explored a free-range farm, learned about sustainable practices, and even collected their own fresh eggs.
Back at school, the students put their harvest to good use by following an English recipe to bake delicious muffins. This hands-on activity not only taught them new cooking skills but also highlighted the journey of food from farm to table.
The day was a perfect blend of learning, teamwork, and fun, giving students a deeper appreciation for nature, farming, and the joy of creating something from scratch. It was an unforgettable start to the term!
