Senior Ball 2024
Dear Readers,
The Ton was a buzz Last Friday night! The senior students of Mount Hutt College (Years 12 & 13) stepped into a magical night of elegance and regency charm!
This year Mount Hutt College's annual ball was enchanting with the theme chosen as Bridgerton. Attendees were thrilled the moment they took their walk down the central steps of the Methven Resort to be welcomed by cascading floral arrangements and twinkling lights draped all around.
The night created memories for all that will be remembered well, with delicious platters made by the fantastic Fern And Feta and gorgeous draping decorated by Denise Dixie, an extravagant venue provided by Methven Resort, and of course, an amazing DJ and immaculate photographers that captured the forever memories of the night from Gravity Events.
Attendees danced the night away having a moment reprieve with our encapsulating slow dance followed by our traditional awards of the night which went to well-deserved students…

After months of hard work from myself (Layla Manning) and the Social Committee, the night really paid off and was better than we could have ever imagined! Thank you so much to my committee, Miss Johnson ( the teacher in charge), and Mrs Roderick for all the ideas and helping hands. It truly wouldn't have been possible without you guys.
Overall, the gala was relishing and was a huge success, This shall be the gossip throughout the Ton for the next while!
