Big Buddy / Little Buddy

The Big Buddy Little Buddy programme was the brainchild of Boyd Keepa, and it remains a staple of Mount Hutt College.
Beginning high school can be daunting, but by pairing up our Year 7s and Year 13s, the aim is to provide our youngest members with connections they can rely on as they navigate their year. The day consisted of dress up photos, a getting to know you activity, and long ball and octopus tag. It is always to uplifting to see the students chatting and interacting, and taking time to get to know each other.
Throughout the year there will be a range of activities on offer for our buddies to engage in.
