Yr 9/10 Speech Competition

It is always such a boost to see students who are willing to crack the door open and give public speaking a go.
This year we held our Y9/10 speech competition and, yet again, students delivered high quality speeches. The topics were diverse, quirky, and thoughtful, with engaging delivery. From the impact of gaming, to the power of the imagination, Bigfoot, and even Star Wars (to name just a few), students’ topic choice showed just how much creativity and consideration goes into speeches.
It was a lovely afternoon spent listening to young people sharing their passions, world views and ideas.
