Antarctic Centre Trip

On Tuesday 18th September all the Year 7 science classes went on a trip to the Antarctic Centre, Christchurch.
We first split into our two buses then one bus went through an area and we saw huskies. We did an ice challenge. It was really cold. You could also spin the earth around the sun.
Then we did the Haaglund rides while the rest of the kids did the 4D movie - this was probably my favourite part. Then we went to the storm room. It had an igloo. It was -8 degrees. It was so cold and also windy in the storm room. Then we got to see the little blue penguins before we finished with a documentary about Antarctica.
