Wilson Triumphs at South Island Karate Championships

Mount Hutt College is proud to celebrate Year 10 student Wilson Daus for his outstanding success at the Karate Canterbury Cup & South Island Schools competition on Sunday, 21st June.
Competing in the Under 16 Premier Divisions, Wilson achieved incredible results:
- 1st Place: South Island Schools Under 16 (U58kg) Premier Kata (Form)
- 3rd Place: South Island Schools Under 16 (U58kg) Premier Kumite (Sparring)
- 1st Place & Trophy Winner: Canterbury Cup Under 16 (U58kg) Premier Kata
Securing the Canterbury Cup trophy in the Premier category is a massive achievement. Congratulations, Wilson, on representing our school with such pride and excellence!
