MHC Alumni Henry King on ANZAC Day
Former MHC student, Henry King, attended the Methven ANZAC Day services representing the New Zealand Defence Force
Henry is pictured here with MHC Principal Jack Saxon; teachers Todd Houston, Henry, Rana Staples, Linda Patterson and Jenna Chennery.
Henry is currently Second Lieutenant, posted to the first battalion, in The Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment (RNZIR). This year he is doing armoured corp training. This means New Zealand Light Armoured Vehicle (NZLAV) familiarisation, as well as Crew Commanders and Troop Leaders courses.
After this year of intense training he will be promoted to Lieutenant, which means he will be in charge of either a troop or platoon. At Mount Hutt College, we are always thrilled to hear about the success of our alumni.
