The service committee has been working hard over the last few weeks to collect orders of small and large daffodils in the community with custom messages on them to display on our front fence of our school. 

We are able to manufacture these ourselves at school with the help of our laser cutter and engrave custom messages which range from supportive messages and logos from businesses that have donated. 

Once they have been cut and engraved they are then painted and coated with a protective seal to ensure they are durable enough for the wild weather conditions Methven is exposed to and the committee displays them out on our front fence. 

These are on display for most of August and into the beginning of September when they are brought back in and looked after until the following year. 

The idea is that as bulbs naturally multiple each season so does our display! We currently have around 60 daffodils and are grateful that we are able to add to the display every year.
